Opalescent Stained Glass Flourescent Light Covers

This light cover is 24″ X 48″ and covers 4 flourescent bulbs.  When choosing a glass for a light fixture be sure to consider the fuction of the room and how much light you will need from this light source.  Is it the only source of light or just one of many.

Opalescent glasses hide the bulbs more than transparent glasses but also block out some of the light and colours the light coming through it.

The colours in this cover will cast warm light into the room but would not give as much light as one made with more whites and textured clears.  You can also change the bulbs to daylight bulbs to change the light coming through the panel.
