Stained Glass Classes
Learn the copper foil stained glass technique! Create your own stained glass windows, lampshades and more. Let your imagination be your guide, and let us be your teacher. With over 30 years of stained glass instruction experience with Conestoga College, our instructors will ensure you get the best stained glass lessons available.
You will learn:
- choosing the right stained glass tools
- selecting which stained glass to use
- creating stained glass patterns
- how to cut glass
- copper foil technique (Tiffany method)
- how to assemble and solder your pieces
- applying patina, finishing
- how to build a stained glass box
- how to build a panel lamp
- how to replace a broken piece
All in step-by-step, hands-on learning under the instruction and supervision of our teachers.
Our classes run 8 weeks long, three hours per week, beginning each September and January and April.
Our next stained glass class begins Monday April 16th,2012.
